We are only able to accept digital pictures. Your digital picture must be in JPG format and 100k or less in size and saved on your computer in order to upload it.
You can access the My Photos page by clicking on My Profile screen and then click on the Update Photo. Click on the link that says 'click here' to upload your picture. You will be directed to the next page where you will see a 'Browse' icon, from here:
Select the position you wish your picture to appear in.
Click on Browse and locate your picture within your computer.
Click on the Open button and then click 'upload image'
Your picture has now been sent to our Photo Approval Team for review. After we have verified that your picture does not include anything that contravenes our guidelines, it will then be approved and loaded on your profile immediately. Pictures are usually processed within 24 hours and we will try to process them immediately whenever possible.

Remember that whatever you decide to upload on your profile is going to be another member's first impression of you.
You could upload a headshot or a full-length picture; maybe a holiday picture or something that you feel is a good representation of your personality.
Photos containing the following, are not accepted:
Children Alone
Nudity
Advertising
Personal contact information
Copyright material
Suggestiveness
Car License Plates
Political pictures
Guns/weapons
Partial body shots
Any picture without a person in it (show a picture of your cat but make sure you're in it too!).
We reserve the right to decline any picture we feel may cause offence or be inappropriate.

If you picture has not been accepted by the system it could be for one of several reasons.
Your picture must be less than 100k in size and in JPG format. The system will usually tell you the reason that we are unable to accept your picture however if you are unsure please contact customer services for advice.
If you uploaded your picture successfully and it has not been loaded on your profile it means that it was declined by our approval team and contravened our guidelines in some way.

There are several options open for you if you do not currently have a digital picture. Many places now offer an extra service and when you take your film in for developing you can also request a CD of digital images. Alternatively many libraries and Internet cafes offer a scanning facility and will put your image on a disk or CD for you.

Members who have a picture included in their profile get lots and lots more attention and mail from other members. People like to see who are they are talking to and often not including a picture may mean that you are missing out on that special person!
